Peneda – Gêres
Region de Minho, Portugal, entramos en el Parque Nacional de Peneda – Gêres a través del paso fronterizo de Portela do Home. Nos sumergimos en un frondoso bosque repleto de abetos, pinos y acacias. El bosque está precioso en otoño, los colores amarillos, naranjas y marrones de robles, alcornoques y madroños se entremezclan con el verde intenso de los abetos y el olor a tierra mojada nos rodea e impregna de sensaciones.
Las carreteras sinuosas y estrechas dificultan la conducción y aunque el tráfico no es muy intenso moderas instintivamente la velocidad, tampoco quieres asustar a la fauna, que parece que va a aparecer en el siguiente recodo del camino, pero no… esta vez …
El deporte de orientación nos trae este fin de semana hasta la boca del Parque Nacional de Peneda – Gêres – Portugal, donde se celebra el Campeonato Ibérico Femenino de Orientación a Pie – Dos Mundos – Dos Pasiones, Deporte en Naturaleza.
